	About Us Janet Wonnacott - Managing Director Janet has worked with European Lifelong Learning Programmes since 2004 and she is very passionate about maintaining high standards of service in finding quality work placements and accommodation for students and creating a positive experience for them. Janet named her Company Almond, as the Almond flower is the first flower to appear in Spring to signify a "new beginning". Janet wants students who come through the organisation to have a good experience, which will give them life-changing opportunities. Almond Vocational Link has had a prestigious Partnership project approved under the Lifelong Learning Programme in 2009 and has also gained many partners under the LLP in Mobility both for students in Initial Vocational Training as well as for People in the Labour market. The Company has also being involved with VETPRO projects as well. And now recently we are coordinating a Grundtvig project. Janet has formed many close relationships with partners from abroad that have brought students to us year after year. "Our attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us." Antonio Sardu - Marketing Director Antonio has recently joined Almond Vocational Link after a life time spent in Sales and Business Development for an International Software Publisher. With an array of skills and experience in Education (Qualified School Teacher), ICT, European Language Teaching (Italian, French, Spanish, English EFL and German), Hospitality (Restaurant Owner and Chef), qualified Technical Diver and underwater Photographer and Videographer, enjoys social networking and cooking. Antonio is calm and friendly, polite and honest, he is intending on expanding Almond Vocational Link services, having worked in the past as EFL teacher and Vocational Visits Co-ordinator for other foreign students organizations, including Anglophiles. Although Antonio is originally from Sardinia (Italy), he has lived in UK since 1973. Jolanta Pociute - Graphic Designer Jolanta speaks Lithuanian, Russian, English and Italian. She joined Almond in July and being a qualified Graphic Designer, Jolanta takes care of brochure’s production and marketing for the Lithuanian region. Scott Grenney - Website Designer Scott has been designing websites for a number of years for a wide range of small businesses. Scott has joined the Almond Vocational Link’s team to work closely with Janet to help support Almond Vocational Link's web development. Scott also works in helping promote Plymouth were ever possible. Beata Krzekotowska - Public Relations Beata had an internship at Almond Vocational Link during the summer and has come on board to help with the marketing and PR. She also assists with the website projects. These are only part of the members of our team that are actively involved in the day to day running of the operations. We also have a team of highly qualified fully accredited by the British Council English language teachers, who take care of the training materials and course outline preparation.
