Whether you prefer to explore the city or enjoy the country, Exeter has something for everyone. With a population of 117,600. Exeter is a student friendly city which combines modern life with a sense of history. With plenty to see, including the Cathedral, consecrated in 1133 and rebuilt in the late medieval period, being just one example. The scenery of natural parks such as Dartmoor and Exmoor is breathtaking and the beaches make the South West one of Europe’s top holiday destinations.


Plymouth

With a population of 256,000, Plymouth is the Regional Capital of Devon and Cornwall. Like Exeter, Plymouth is a historic City and has a notable maritime history, which is famous throughout the World and attracts visitors all year around. Plymouth is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city and its scenery amongst the finest in Europe. The world famous Barbican is a must see and holds an array of individual and unique shops. It is rich in history including Smeaton's Tower lighthouse where you can climb up and enjoy the breathtaking views over Plymouth Sound. Plymouth also boasts Britain’s largest and Europe’s deepest National Marine Aquarium. Plymouth is student friendly with a lively night life and entertainment scene.
