How to get to Almond Vocational Link’s office?
When you first arrive to Plymouth and have a limited knowledge of the city it can be quite a daunting experience. Please do not hesitate to ask for help, your host family especially. They know their local area very well and will be able to advise you on how to get to the Plymouth City Centre or any other places you need to find.
On your first day, you will be brought to our office by your host family. This will help you to get good look at the area surrounding. We recommend that you also download our Almond App which will inform you about the facilities available in Plymouth.
Directions from City Centre:
The map at the bottom of this page, illustrates the bus route to Almond Vocational Link’s office from Plymouth City Centre – Royal Parade. You will need to use service number 70, 70A, 70B or 71 from the bus stop A3 on Royal Parade, situated on the same side as St. Andrew’s Church.
Please inform the driver that you need to get to Stoke – City Business Park and ask if he could let you know when to get out. He will happily help you but make sure you stay near the exit so that you can hear him. For your future travels, please be aware that you must press the stop button if you want to get off the bus. After pressing the button, your bus will pull over by the next available bus stop. On your way back, please make sure you are waiting at the bus stop on the left side of the road. When your bus is approaching, please remember to wave at it (just like signaling for a taxi to stop) in order for it to pull over.
Once out of the bus, please look for the City Business Park road sign and follow the road.
